Some quotes from 6th Graders when asked the question "What has CLC meant to you?"
JOSH: "I was a Christian but we did
not go to church on a regular basis. Since I came to CLC and would go
home and tell what we did there, my family has started going to church
regularly and I have started reading my Bible every day and praying."
Note: this young man has started a Bible Study in school during lunch
hour.
VICTOR: Note: Victor came two years
ago from Guatemala and could not speak English and he was very shy.
These are his words." Since I started to CLC I have learned to speak up
and have self-confidence. My grades have improved and I am not afraid
to talk to people about God. I have also learned to pray about the
little things of life."

BRANDON: " I love to come to CLC because there is someone I can talk to on our level and you are special"
(speaking to Miss Dianna).
Katie: " I was saved when I was eight years old but I did not always do right. Since I started coming to CLC I read my Bible every day and pray."
KAELYN: "When you are with Christian friends you want to do right because they will remind you when you are doing wrong."

Brantley: " When I was saved I didn't really change or grow in Christ, but when I got to CLC I grew mentally, physically, and I have grown a lot from this class spiritually. I have started to read my Bible and pray every night. My grades have improved and I am not afraid to tell people about God anymore. I have even grown in my church because of this class. I used to be shy and wouldn't talk to many people, but now I have gained my confidence. Before I was in CLC I wasn't very close to God, but when I joined I felt like I have come closer to him through this class and through Christ."
